False Prophets

Today I want to talk about Prophets, what a False Prophet is, and what the Bible says about it. Many people will come claming to love Jesus and follow him, but will say things that aren’t true. Throughout this I will have many articals.

Sun Myung Moon is a perfect example of this!

 “Sun Myung Moon (1920–2012), founder and leader of the Unification Church established in Seoul, South Korea, who considered himself the Second Coming of Christ, but not Jesus himself. Although it is generally believed by Unification Church members (“Moonies”) that he was the Messiah and the Second Coming of Christ and was anointed to fulfill Jesus’ unfinished mission.”

I’m letting you know now that Jesus Christ is the only Messiah, the only Savior, and only one that will come back when it is time. The book Devine was written by Sun Myung Moon. Sun Myung Moon is a false teacher and I can back this up with proof first let’s talk about how Sun Myung Moon is a false prophet!

A false Prophets “are people who teach false doctrine and lead people away from the true gospel message and teaching of God found in the Bible. Jesus warned about false prophets in Matt. 24:24 stating that in the last days many false prophets would arise and deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Jesus clearly states in the Bible in the book of Matthew ~

Matthew 24:5-8 King James Version (KJV)

⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. ⁶ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. ⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

What Jesus is saying is many will come in his name saying “I am the Christ” and shall deceive many. Don’t trust people who teach you things, but have trouble backing them up with the Bible. People will lie to you, use emotion to get you to fear them or even submit to them. When people want money they will do just about anything to make you believe these things. People Sun Myung Moon uses “systematic deception.” Just read this articial “The Moon organization has a long and documented history of controversy which includes systematic deception, separating new members from their families.” and friends I will link you to the articles that talk about this!

Let’s look at John 14:6

⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Clearly what Jesus is saying here is “I am the way” that he is the only way. He didn’t say he was A way he said HE WAS THE ONLY WAY!

 “Sun Myung Moon has been criticized for basing some of his theology on that of his former pastor Baek Moon Kim. Kim wrote down his theology in a book, titled The Fundamental Christian Principles. It was around this same time that Moon began to claim that Jesus had appeared to him years earlier and had given him a similar mission. Moon eventually helped to develop his own book, titled The Original Text of the Divine Principle (later changed to the Exposition of the Divine Principle, and later changed again to the Divine Principle). There are similarities in both men’s work related to the Principles of Creation, the Fall, and Restoration.^[ Moon himself stated that Kim was a “John the Baptist figure”.

“This group is a multi-billion dollar conglomerate which seeks to establish a one world theocratic government run by Sun Myung Moon, the presumed “new messiah”. It has a wide variety of front groups: religious fronts; political fronts; media fronts; social and cultural fronts; recruiting fronts; Educational fronts; and business fronts. The Moon organization has a long and documented history of controversy which includes systematic deception, separating new members from their families and friends, intensive mind control indoctrination and shady business and political dealings. Despite it wealth and power, it is interesting to note that burdensome members are sometimes discarded, penniless, after long years of dedication and service. These people were promised that they would be taken of for the rest of their life, but when illness or misfortune strikes them, they are often instructed to fend for themselves.”

“According to the opinion of most critics of the Unification Church as well as to my own experience as a former 6 1/2 year member, the movement uses techniques of psychological manipulation very similar to those used by the Communists during the Cultural Revolution and the Korean teachers. During the Korean War, American G.I.s were captured by the North Koreans and within period of time transformed into Communists who not only did not want to return to their families and friends, but who now also hated the very country and values they had been willing to die for.”

¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

John 4:16

¹ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.² Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: ³ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ⁵ They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. ⁶ We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Revelation 20:7-13

⁷And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, ⁸And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. ⁹And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. ¹⁰And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.¹¹And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. ¹²And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. ¹³And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

If people come up to you very aggressively or wanting to ask you questions be careful usually they want something out of you.
