Daily Preaching 1/15/2019
Today I want to talk about Enegry weather it be postive enegry, negtive enegry, a lack of enegry, today we are going to look at what the Bible says about enegry! The past week, week and a half I have been sleeping with no enegry at all today I forced myself to come outside and study for a bit so that I can have mind over matter. I will get better, I know I will!! With God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit nothing can bring me down because even if I died I know that I will have ever lasting life in heaven.
10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 14Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. 15Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
What this is saying is rejoice meaning feel or show great joy or delight in our Lord and Savior Jesus. Your care for him has Flourished again. Flourished meaning “(of a person, animal, or other living organism) grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.” Meaning your love for Jesus was born again! I know how to be abase meaning “
to lower in rank, office, prestige, or esteem abase oneself” “
“bring down,” “debase,” “humble”; of `anah ” I know how to be abound meaning to be present in large numbers or in great quantity. Everything I can do is through the strength of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Isaiah Chapter 40:28-31
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not fain
What this is saying is the Lord our God Jesus does not fainteth and DOES NOT have a lack of energy. He does not feel Tiredness or weary. He gives power to the faint, to the week, and gives strength to those who trust and believe. They shell have the enegry of eagles if we pray and walk with God, Jesus, and the holy Spirit.
